I found out that when upshifting in a manual vag vehicle ,it shifts better if u hang on the throttle for a little bit longer than normal.
...also downshift revmatch
i have the short shifter for about 4000km and it feels fine, alot more notchy when cold and fine when warm. it is summer now so i think in winter it might be a problem. anyhow i have thinner 75w80 oil in the gearbox... am curios how it will be in winter
i had friends drive the car and they...
i was unlukcy this didnt fix my problem also...
so i bought new Cam Adjuster Control Valve N205 and this didnt fix my problem also and after 2000km i got P0011 code when scanning with obd2.
so i bought new 2.0T FSI Cam Chain Adjuster (Mounted on the Cam) 06F109088J and put in new chain aand...
mounter the golf 4 R32 short shifter , it feels very litle notchy, at first didnt realise it was on ... but shortened the shifting a bit.
the alignment of shifter cables is very importand
here is a video from a pro how to:
Other questions that i have asked the tuner were:
1) mine is an AXX engine code, first version of 2.0 tfsi that had problems with intake camshaft lobe that sits near HPFP. What intake camshaft should i buy if i have problems and will the tune need modification?
--> response: get revision with...
yes, dyno is fine on 2wheel dyno
u can disconnect connection to haldex ecu or fuse or somthing... and thus traction will be fron only. (better let an electrician do this)
for me ... i had the haldex ecu out of the car and sent to england for repair... so only front pulled at the time the dyno...
the car was custom tuned on the road driving, using laptop and obd port by a tuner specialised in this particular engine! This is why i traveled 600km for the tune.
i know thigns are not fake because of the way it drives and i also did another dyno at a local shop which showed 14HP less and 40NM...
1 week after the tune and i'm thinking i should havee gone for stage1 only.
power is fine and nice but i have nasty exhaust drone between 3000-4000 rpm.
exhaust is 76mm with a muffler and a resonator(no catalytic converter)
very quiet at low load under 3k rpm... but on highway speeds the mirror...
got a revo air intake (will get a k&n filter for it because revo seems to let too much dust in)
the Haldex ECU was fixed in england and is shiped to me in about 1 week. These guys fixed it for £159.00...
Why is the graph dated 19th February? This is what i want to know:) probably he did not do a before dyno run.. just an after. The tune was made on the street driving... the dyno was just to print the paper.
About the torque.... on the road, there is the weight of the car and there is more load...
i asked the tuner the following:
-safety and reliability is prioritary
-at upshift ,i upshift slowly and rpm drop in between gears from 6500 to 4800rpm => i neeed max power band of 1800-2000rpm
-usually i shift gears between 3500-4200 rpm with 3/4 throttle , other times i rarely drag race and...
