Your post made me think back to this interview regarding in car noise and how frequencies are naturally or man made to affect the in cabin affect. Good segment to listen to.
For months I thought they both had the same Soundaktor until I watched this video and experienced later firsthand switching from the 7R.

I wonder if I can source one from the 7R and do a straight swap with the S3 8V. I really liked the one from the 7R (which is probably the same as the Clubsport).

I came from the Golf 7R and thought the soundaktor in that gave a much deeper growl than what's in the 8V S3. The S3's is pretty tame IMO; without the resonator delete, it would be even more quiet than the 7R!

The outside portion of the line is convex, while the inner portion is just regular. I've had them before on my US spec GTI and Golf R and love them.
I don't believe there is a full aspherical convex DRIVER side mirror in ANY mkts.

US mkt S3 8V here. It's strange that I've not seen any US retailers offering aspherical DRIVER SIDE mirrors that RoW folks gets. Before I purchase one from eBay, anything I should know about aftermarket vs OEM units? I know some of the Golf guys said the convex outter portion didnt look quite...
@larbel is spot on. No way would I choose the Revo over 034. Take a look at this Revo install video vs. a 20 min 034 dogbone mount install anywhere else on YouTube.
Thx to @DJAlix for the link and idea for this mod. I don't know if any 8V trims for US Mkt A3/S3 came with telescoping vents but my PFL S3 definitely didnt. And looking at those hideous FL vents, it doesn't seem like they do either.
Picked this set up from ebay.de and tested them out today...
27.5lbs...that's pretty decent for a replica considering that wheel design has a lot of spokes. It's around the same weight as OEM Audi Black Optik 19x8 wheels.
Oh i think I've got you beat with OCD [emoji12]. I actually did it on purpose to give it a change and tell differences between the keys. Besides, the spare will rarely see light of day.
The remote range is good but my 2016 PFL US mkt S3 locking chirp is pretty subdued IMO. I think Audi uses much lower pitch chirp sound than say a Toyota chirp (which I love). It's annoyingly TOO subdued for my taste.
Has anyone tried this altenating DRL/Turn Signal VCDS mod (PFL/Xenon headlamps) and liked it enough to keep it? See video attached.
It seems distracting but maybe I'll give it a try. I did however, tried coding the DRL to remain full power on when turn signal is on. I drove a different car...
