I came from a 3.0D BMW and can say I'm happy with the 2.0TDI Ultra model in comparison to the BMW's higher power output. When I want more power I'll get an RS6 for the weekend! :-)

Thanks Spike! :-) I did love the old e39. I do wish I hadn't sold it and nearly bought it back twice. The E60 was garbage in comparison.

I know - especially in this weather! I ran an e39 5 series (Champagne II) in black a few years ago - here are some photos I've only washed the A6 4 times, since Thursday - not too bad. :)

Thanks for the welcome. Car continues to impress averaging 47 - 52mpg on short runs, so I can't imagine what its going to be like on long runs. Looking forward to get the chance to get nice photos of it and perhaps a video!

Cheers - yeah mine does have the power open boot lid but you're saying it will auto close also, as long as Audi program it to do so? what did they charge to do that? Thanks
