Gonna be selling the brand new A5 LED number plate bulbs (only 2 weeks old) as well as the Kufatec cable (week old). I’ve given up with it. Putting in a set £13 from ebay that are currently on my other car A3 Black Edition 59 plate. No errors with those. Seems a bit of a lottery with the Audi units.

Also, I did start a separate thread but does anyone know why my comfort signals go from 5 flashes when changed in VCDS back to 3 flashes when I disconnect the VCDS from the car???

Update on this. Bought cable from Kufatec to sort the bulb warning issue. Changed settings on VCDS to LED. Tried turning cold bulb setting off. Tried everything that has been suggested. Nothing worked. Kept getting the bulb warning on the DIS. Ended up taking off Kufatec cable turning off LED...

Got an issue on my 2010 S3 where I want to change my comfort indicators from 3 flashes to 5 flashes. I make the change to 5 whilst I’m plugged in and confirm the change and it works fine. Yeah Dave. They stay on with the error on the DIS

Think my issue is the same as yours.

I installed them. The LED’s work fine. The bulb out error comes on as soon as I turn the ignition on.

Made any more mods lately?

Is it just the one resistor that I need?

Have you still got the car with you in New Zealand Sam?

Tried what you said Sam. No joy. Thought I’d go OEM and I’ve got more of an issue than I had with aftermarket non-gen LED lights lol. It was your project thread that made me want to get the A5 OEM number plate lights. Great car btw.
