Does anyone on here understand the nuances of VAG part numbers?
I was under the impression that the last letter was just a revision number but now I'm not so sure.
I need this propshaft part number 1K0 521 101 Q
I have found one with this part number 1K0 521 101 M
Looking at the 'M' part it...
It seems odd that this is not available as a separate part from Audi. On most other models it is listed independently from the main shaft.
You'd also think that it would be a part that gets reused across the range of VAG vehicles.
Does anyone have an idea where to get hold of just the rear flexible coupler / vibration damper for a 2011 8P?
TPS dont have a part number for it and only list the entire shaft assembly at £1300.00
I am just about to embark on changing the DMF in my 2011 RS3 8P.
It has done 57K and has a rattle / vibration from the DMF.
Has anyone here got any experience of doing this ? any special procedures / tools etc ?
And is it worthwhile replacing the clutch packs while the box is out?
That's a shame. It's a 2007 model and as the mirrors were only £90 for the pair I thought I was getting too good a bargain.
Thanks for letting me know though. Maybe another trawl around fleabay for the modules may be in order since the mirrors were so cheap.
Hey guys, after my better half swiped my driver's side wing mirror off, I found a nice pair of electric adjust / heated / electric folding mirrors on fleabay. My original mirrors didn't have the electric folding option.
My question is can they be retrofitted with the electric folding function...
