I have broken the little handle for opening and closing my arm rest on my S3 and left me with two little bits of plastic rattling about where it used to be clipped in.. Does anyone know if you can buy this part separate or do you need to buy a whole lid/arm rest? I know they're quite a common...

I didn’t even look to be fair because they just bolted up and worked. I can check tomorrow though. Here’s how close my caliper sits to the spokes with a 12mm spacer. The caliper it’s self sits so tight to the barrel of the wheel you can’t run wheel weights with 18’s so bear that in mind.

If you are putting RS3 discs on an S3 you'll need mk5 GTI hubs. TT RS discs fit straight on to the S3, and you'll need a 12mm spacer to clear the caliper. It will be tight on 18's but I run them. The wheels fit nicely under the arch also.

I would recommend doing the rear lines at the same time if you haven't already

You'll also need to make sure you have wheel to fit over them. Facelift S3 wheels require a 12mm spacer and extended bolts.

Sorry to bring an old thread back to life, but has anyone else found success with other wheels? I am struggling to find a set that I like that will fit over the brakes.

Yeah I agree. I'm looking for a wider setup but not for stance. Having a hard time finding things that go over my brakes and its a bit scary to think about buying wheels that haven't been tried before :culpability:

Just wondering what wheels are people running with big brake kits? I am currently running the standard facelift S3 alloys with a 12mm spacer and they fit fine over TTRS calipers, but I would like an aftermarket set like OZ's or something.

I'm 372bhp 398lb/ft and in a straight line I don't get any wheel spin. Check your tyres and get the haldex looked at as it sounds like it might not be working properly. As for the haldex 50/50 mod.. What actually is this? and do you really want 50% of your stage 2+ power permanently running...
