Tell that to my transverse Celica gt4 with permanent torsen 4wd.

So there's a car for sale and the owner has stated it passed MOT with no issues even with a Decat. Is that possible on the 8v? Does it have multiple cats. As far as I was aware if you remove a cat then it's an instant MOT failure.

I didn't realise there was a Dyno mode, I thought people unplugged a certain fuse or cable.

I've been keeping a very close eye on the used S3 market as once all this covid stuff is over I'll be looking to buy. I've noticed that there are a hell of a lot of 3 to 4 year old cars with 3 or 4 previous owners. Is this normal for newish cars now? I realise with leasing and rental that people...

Well I'll definitely be going auto, I thought the earlier version was 7 speed auto also. Live and learn it's 6. Definitely be a facelift model then I think.

I will probably go for a newer one as I'm no racing driver and a few bhp higher or lower won't make a lot of difference. I was just wondering why the older model makes more...

Hi all, I'm looking at getting myself an s3. Been looking around at remapping options and it seems the 2012-2015 296bhp models remap with slightly better results than the 2016 305bhp model onwards. Apart from having a newer car what are the main benefits, differences between a 2015 and 2016...

I realise this is a very old thread but I'm having the same issue. Did anyone solve this? I've tried a replacement motor and replacement control unit. I don't think it's the regulator as I've tried the motors when removed from the door and all I get is a slight click in the control unit. Tried...

Would you know if there is another module that I could try replacing? Or could it possibly be a power issue, the unit is definitely getting power but maybe not enough?

Yep all I'm getting is a slight click from the White control module. Tried several motors and control modules.
