On Monday i said goodbye to the RS6 after almost 2.6 years. Got a fantastic price in part ex against an 18 plate Mercedes GLC AMG 43 & even got a good few grand in cash back. I'll miss the sound etc but getting older & continues lower back problems i need something easier to get in/out of. Will...
I removed mine, gave the nozzle/jets a god soak in warm soapy water & then got a sewing needle & pushed that through the ''washer jets'' . Refitted & works perfect, this was a dead easy job on my RS6 C7
My RS6 did this the other week, 'change key battery'' on the dash. My dealer who supplied the car did it for free & as soon as i got back to the car the message went & all is fine.
.............dont think i'll be putting shoe polish on my winter rubber mats !!!!!. Good old wash with hot soapy water & leave to dry for mine. Apart from the mess they could get ''slippery when wet'' according to Bon Jovi!!!:whistle2:
Got to admit this ''paint protection'' is really expensive & i just have regular washing & polishing on mine. This ''Ceramic protection'' products around at the moment also seem to be going mad, they just stick ceramic on everything now!!!!?. What next ceramic wash mits & buckets!!!.
..............i have an RS6 c7 performance & i have a second bank account that i put money into towards the running cost. Just hade x4 new MPS4's fitted today & the cash was there.
Mine needs x4 new tyres & i was ringing around earlier today & for mine the Pirelli were a fair bit cheaper BUT ill be sticking with the MPS4S that are currently fitted.
