Because I've since installed my own full closure, remote start all singing and dancing immobiliser and it seems to clash with the stock central locking. :)
Hmm. If it's coding it would have showed up on VCDS no? Although my factory immobiliser is deactivated and I get the flashing icon on the dash. This could be related.
Car's still doing it. I've tested the coolant temp sensor. It makes no difference if it's connected or not from cold. Airflow meter works fine too. I'm guessing residual sludge in pump or filter from when it was stood for 3 years.
What say you?
Hey all. Getting rid of the stock amp and sub, all I need to know is the pinout for the red amp plug. Other than the obvious thick live and earths that is. Thanks in advance.
Codes were cleared. They only came back for steering angle sensor as I'd had it off to replace plastics. And yes as it happens not ten mins ago it played up from when I'd parked up after a drive home. Car was at temp, so this has me thinking possibly fuel pump?
As title suggests, it's getting annoying now. The car is showing signs that are related to a faulty coolant temp sensor. Symptoms are, having to throttle it on cold start to get it to catch ignition. Bad idle etc. But is
a gem when warm. Someone please confirm or debunk this for me please?
As title really. My name's Tosseef. But y'all can call me Chief. My 1.8 auto A3 8L has cold starting issues. Have to blip the throttle to get it to catch ignition. Starts pefect when warm. I've had this on my SX's and Skylines and it's always been the ECU coolant temp sensor. Can someone confirm...
