Just had 42L5 performed on my car today by Northampton Audi. They told me it's just the rear camber that is checked as part of this particular recall....
It was apparently within tolerance, but if I wanted it making perfect it would be down to my expense at a nice sum of £540.00!!
It was also...
Worth reading this thread: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/massive-it-failure-affects-all-audi-2020-a4-vehicles.411321/
A known issue and the only way you'll get it solved is through a firmware update at the dealer to version 3281 i'm afraid.
If you give them a ring, quote the TPI number...
Yeh, I would tell them that you know there is a TPI number related to this issue, and quote them the TPI number: 2059215
When I rang my local dealer to get booked in, first of all they just put my reg into the system their end and told me there was no update available. But when I gave them the...
All seems to be working great! The cars been sat on the drive since yesterday morning, and I've just gone to unlock / lock from the app after reading your post and it worked fine.
Vehicle status information also updates and refreshes now which it wouldn't do for me prior to having 3281...
3281 was installed yesterday and everything is still working as it should today!
Definitely worth being without the car for a day to make it work properly :icon thumright:
You've had a similar experience to myself then by the sounds of it.
I think the way you have to play it is contact your local dealers service bookings team, mention the issues your having with the MMI and get it booked in. Tell the person you're booking in with you know there is a TPI for this...
Sounds promising then!
I've just rang and booked the car in for next Friday (10th July). The woman I spoke to has also put the TPI number down on the booking details, so fingers crossed it'll point them straight to the issue.
Thanks for that thorpemark1!
So I contacted Northampton Audi yesterday and told them the situation. They punched my reg into their system and it returned no issues / recalls / updates available etc
Told them I had a TPI number for the software issue (got the usual... "I don't know how you got...
I received my 2020 A4 Avant last week, but have been keeping a close eye on this thread prior so I knew I would probably have some issues from day one.
I contacted the Audi Digital Support guys just yesterday to ask if a later software version to 3248 had been released and they told me that was...
Mine came too (also 170 quattro). From other threads I've read recently, I don't think I'll be getting it done either. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it...."
My mum has a Golf 1.6 bluemotion. On her way home from having the "fix" done just before Xmas, the car went into limp mode. Diagnosis was...
Had a phone call from Stebbings today as they had been looking into it. They mentioned something that potentially could be genuine reason. The mileage when recorded could well have been taken down as a km reading, not miles. (The units of measure were never stated on the service documents)...
The car was purchased from Stebbings near Kings Lynn just over a month ago.
I've got Hitchin Audi looking into it, and I've also started an email trail with Stebbings regarding it, so at least there's things in writing in case I have to take things further.
The only thing making me feel any...
Yeh I have, 6th July showing 46,242 miles. This was done by the dealer though prior to me collecting. Considering it's a 62 plate (2013 registered vehicle), this is probably it's first one.
That said, the service history Audi sent to me seems a little weird aswell. Hoping now it's just a bit of...
Hi all
I purchased my A3 Sportback Quattro (8P) a couple of months back from a used car dealer near Kings Lynn. The car was listed through them as having 45,000 miles, and came with Full Audi Service history.
I've just been looking through the service history regarding Haldex servicing to see...
