I've got the same (1.4 S-Tronic), but saloon, so a little lighter. I average about 42mpg over a full tank. Auto seems to give better economy than Comfort, but I've even found that Dynamic gives better mpg than Auto (as fair comparisons as I can do, e.g. full tank in each mode, usual commuting...

If it's the same as my 1.4TFSI - Dynamic Mode, Sport Box, disable TCS (hold for 5 secs). Left foot hard on the brake, right foot on the accelerator. Should hold revs @ 3-4k, release brake, off you go.

I also got a DTUK tuning box for mine, takes the 1.4 from 150PS to 180PS / 250NM to 310NM... more than enough. :) On the downside, I've almost gone through a pair of front Contis in 8,000 miles!

I've had a DTUK box on mine for the last 1000 miles, no issues so far. Only 'issue' was finding somewhere to mount it, used some automotive velcro and attached it to the brake distributor (only flat surface I could find).

My bugbear with the whole in-car wifi is that you either use the embedded SIM for Google Earth, Audi Connect, etc. and buy a data package for the WiFi, or you get your own SIM, which is then used for everything. Why can't it do both, i.e. embedded for the car functions, and own SIM for Wifi?!
