Hi there, I have had the two back boxes deleted on my A5 3.0 V6 TDI. There is a loud hissing from the exhaust when idling and then all of a sudden it can get louder. It is a bit like a hair dryer noise! Sounds great when I put my toe down though! Any ideas what this could be please? Some garages...

Hi, my 3.0 A5 has had the DPF and rear silencers deleted. Sounds great at above around 1500-2000 rpm but during idle the exhaust makes quite a loud hissing noise. This then all of a sudden, randomly gets louder. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks both. I have literally just finished reading @desertstorm thread and it's a great read, well done. Do you think it would be more beneficial to delete the DPF and keep the rear silencers or vice versa. I'm not looking for loud but like most others would like to hear the V6 more. Thanks.
