buy and OBD reader and it will point you straight towards your issue. Mine was the same symptoms on a 1.8tfsi and turned out to be a broken wire on the boost pressure sensor plug.

is it possible to install a remap on Sport mode (S) on my stronic gear box so I can use D for normal commuting ?

I have the same issue but seems to come and go, I find its more frequent when driving around town centres, it only happens at low speeds. From what I have been reading it is a characteristic of the DSG gear box. If anyone resolves this with VCDS can you update please.
