A smart repair is where they will only spray a a bit of the panel flat and polish involves no paint at all have a look on YouTube there's probably plenty on there so you can understand a bit more about what they will do to your car

Let their man try flatting and polishing the marks out but under no circumstances let him do a smart repair on it even if he gets them out 99% it's better than a "smart repair" then hit them for a free service or something as compensation
