If they ever do - the lack of flexibility has done a lot of people over - even mercedes force packs so you cant spec certain things individually and like yousaid if you can’t get what you want then what’s the point - its a shame for sure and audi will lose a number of customers this way.

What spec did you end up going for mate? I think the Alu pack has always looked good on the S and RS models so its a shame that there isn't much flexibility in options - perhaps this is due to the chip shortage so may see this change in the future but no one knows when and if this will happen...

Surely for insurance reasons circumstances can change and the insurance would need to be indicative of who drives the car rather than who owns it.. a bit like a lease/financed car, owned by someone else but insured by the appropriate party?

I believe there is a recall on the exhaust rattle mate and it would involve replacing the whole backbox Best thing is to take it down to your local dealer and demonstrate it to them and the service technician rather than rely on them trying to find it themselves

Has anyone commented on the fact there is no more manual mode? Or is that not the case? I believe there are still paddles but if its anything like the 8v it will override back into automatic mode after a few seconds?

Indeed no roof bar options but they do have in Germany and like you have said you cant have both roof rails and pan roof, its either one or the other

The 35 engine as much as people say it doesn’t sound great (nothing really does after the introduction of the OPF) is a lot more alive and “easier” to drive. Doesn’t need to be pushed and has that low end torque which the 8V S3 was missing, cant say about the new one as i havent driven one
