Not too difficult. Wire was £3 from Audi then just follow the guide here http://audiretrofit.quinlivan.net/cominghomelights :)
No need to flash lights etc, they come on automaticity when unlocking or opening door
I successfully changed the lane change indicators on my friends 2011 A3, and both coming home and leaving home lights on my 2007 without auto lights using the repair wire mod kicking around the forum and Carista.
It's a great app!
As jps says, what it can do depends on your car, but from what I gather on a3s at least is open all doors with one button press is free, then the rest needs the pro kit.
Working fine with my super cheap wifi dongle :)
Ah cool. I think that might be for later cars then as I didn't get that menu. Not alls lost as found a guide using a repair wire to make it work alongside the changes this app makes, same changes that VCDS makes I guess.
Will try this on a mates 2011 a3 tomorrow and see if he gets the menus etc :)
where do you see the option to adjust the timing etc for the coming home lights?
in the app there are two options one being Automatic and the other user defined, but can't actually see anywhere to change these settings. Didn't notice any menus in DIS either, maybe the prefacelifts need the...
Thanks for this OP!
Used the free version to enable all doors unlocking with one press of the button, which has been driving me nuts!
Upgraded to pro anyway as have quite a few VAGs in family and friends circle and the diagnostics element seems way better than DashCommand!
Enabled coming home...
I'm with Tim on this one, I have one, most jobs you would undertake at home are self explanatory but nice to have a rough guide just in case. For £10 it's not huge money even if you only use it a handful of times
No worries.
Not sure sorry as I don't use Spotify so can't confirm.
The unit is good though, a little clunky at times with the first track upon connection displaying "Unknown" but plays fine and clears on track change. BT handsfree is ok, I seem to have some interference but use it so little...
Depends what you need really. I got a pro second hand and self installed.
If you have an iPhone then the pro needs no adapters unlike the Lite, so by the time you add them to the Lite the price gap narrows.
Really happy with it overall
interested to know too :) had parts from this seller for other cars and been a mixed bag
also not sure if cat is decent enough to pass MOT
Not looking for sound, but freeing up response and spool would be good
Pretty sure its stock too.
Done some more logging and the g/s is pretty consistent and equating to 200bhp or thereabouts.
Had a play with the Ramair intake and logged that too, same end result as expected as need to map to gain power. Intake will be up for sale as I seem to prefer the quiet...
so if the boost reading is right, then the calculated hp and torque are not far off. But that would mean the g/s is off. Tad confused to say the least.
any other way to know if its been mapped?
as before. not complaining, car feels good, just curious and want to get facts straight so can...
