Ah I didn't mean the part number I just meant what function it actually performed. I've never heard of a bulb having ballast. Is this a separate part which attaches to the bulb? Thanks

What is the ballast part? All I know at the moment is the light flickered a bit and then pop out it went.

Hi, I've been told you can advise on replacement lights for Audi S3. It's an 09 Sportback and the R/H dipped beam is gone. Not sure what kind of lights these are - Xenons/Halogen? Looked on Euro but prices seem to range from £16 to £130 for Philips top of the line! Can you also supply?
