Interior lights do jot flash on and off

Hi, been told after a service that my sump is corroded. i have noticed some rust a while back, is there any sort of paint to stop this or will it be a new sump. car is a 2009 1.8tfsi, not that old so sump shouldn't have corroded, do audi have a corrosion warranty etc
