Agree! I really like the fact that this screen can be stowed away since I rarely use its features, but do need/want them sometimes. Having its position be configurable would be the best of all worlds.

Apologies for hijacking this thread a little. It seems that radar detectors still have some merit if you can be caught even if being followed from behind. Speed detection from the front is usually done with laser nowadays which is much more difficult to detect - in advance!

You know, sometimes it's hard to see what type of (police) car is following back there.

The car company that offers a rear view camera with about a 150 meter focal point earns my kudos. This would be very helpful to those of us who occasionally exceed the speed limit.

Good news on the Misano, after having lived with it for a year, I can say it doesn't highlight the inevitable scratches. It also doesn't readily show dirt so you can minimize scratches by not needing to wash it so often. It's also a little cooler on hot, sunny days. Not a stealth color, though.

The S3 is pretty tough to beat overall right now IMO, but the upcoming RS3 refresh with a decent horsepower bump to 400+ via an electric turbo and some trick fenders/track might make me consider a swap. In the meantime, you might want to consider an Aprilia APRC as an alternative to the R1...

If you are going with the C63, I've read that the generally disliked ipad-on-a-dash display will be redesigned for next year's model to be integrated into the dash.

If you must buy the replacement visor, you'll want the 2016 version. It can now slide front to back when in the side window position to better block the sun. Audi listened to us!

Definite improvement IMHO. You get added comfort around town as many have pointed out, but one of the greatest benefits is going over the whoop-de-dos. Better control over undulating roads was a major reason for it's development and why top sports car manufacturers are adopting this tech...

Screen down most of the time for me, too. It seems that Audi's systems people would have been better to have the screen stay in whatever position is was left at (up or down) when the car was turned off like the car's other systems - radio, climate, etc. Hopefully, they will reconsider before...
