You should be running an upgraded intercooler mate. These engines get very hot, very quickly and the effect of heat soak on them is very noticeable. A cooler tuned engine is a happy engine.
Yup....good point. Even mine that is OPF, certainly turns heads from the sound. I remember my neighbour telling me after driving behind me, the RS3 sounds like a baby Lambo/supercar. That 5-pot sound sure is nice! Can't wait to get a Uni downpipe and de-OPF this thing!
Yeah, I get asked about this car all the time, as much as I think it's somewhat understated. The purply shade of the car seems to really turn heads....

I've got the ASR RX2 and couldn't be happier. Install needs a little effort, but nothing too hard for the average bloke. Valves open 100% of the time and with added memory for the auto start/stop, it's a simple install, set and forget.
Having done some reading, I suspect our cars Auto Unlock the doors upon deployment of the airbags when sensing an impact. If this is the case, I suspect locking doors would be a somewhat safer practice for overall general safety of the driver.
