So now I've changed the right engine mount, but I can still feel the car jumping when I press and release the throttle..
Should I change all of them or what do I do? They are quite exspencive so I don't want to buy it just to see that it wasn't the problem.
Sorry guys for bad info. But I did check the enginemounts one more time today, and I could clearly see movement when I pushed the engine around a bit. Going to order new mounts to see if the problem goes away! I´ll keep you updated :) I appreciate all the help I´ve gotten so far!
Okay, so now I´ve checked the enginemounts and they seem fine. Was under the car to look at the bushes. Both sides on the steering rod, the bushes are not round, half the side of them are kind of bending inwards.. Can this be the problem or are these suppose to look like this?
Thanks for the info mate! If I only knew where all the engine mounts are localized. I guess I have some searching to do!
But if its the engine mounts... Do I have take out the motor to replace the bad one/ones?
Ahh nevermind that question. I wouldn´t think it is a CV joint on the way out. I would probably feel it all the time then? The jump/lug comes only when I push and release the throttle. I would think it is something with the mixsture of petrol and air. But I have no clue..
I think this has been replaced before I bought the car. The rubber bush seems fine, and its still shiny. I tried to woble the engine a bit, and there was teeny tiny movement, but not like there was something loose.
