    Previous TT owners now B7.

I had an 03 V6 DSG Quattro, my issues were: - Dashpod petrol gauge not reading anything and the MTE not working, I used to drive on the logic of £25 got me 80 miles - DSG PRDNS light of doom came on and I had to replace the Mechatronic unit - Rear springs were from a sport model so not the...

    Comparing S4 / A4 3.2 avant

I went for the V6, drove both loved the S4 for everything it was and would still buy one now BUT I wanted a manual Avant and the perfect V6 came up with 1 owner and 40k on the clock so it was a no brainer for me. Depends on what you want in the car, S4 gets all the bells and whistles along with...

Boring but essential one today - full oil service, sump plug etc only took 90mins so more than happy. Then tightened and replaced the self tapping screws on the LCR splitter and CSR side plinths. Then washed the wife's GLA instead of mine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    headlight upgrade

You just need the lights then a Kufatec adapter to allow them to fit with the halogen connections before a VAGCOM re code. Very straight forward... just costs are high - £400 for Xenons, £100 for adaptors and then coding. Good guide here...

Where do I stand with my insurance repairer

I think now it looks much better and hardly noticeable to the average eye. I remember when the B6 came out and in the silver/blue as the lad up the road had a new one, I remember seeing the rear bumper colour and thinking "that's a different colour" he then swapped for the B7 and same again...

    Air Conditioning Compressor question

I had mine repaired a year ago - I found out it was the Compressors 'clutch' - much cheaper part than replacing the whole piece. Apparently these are the common fault. If you get someone to press the AC on and you stand outside listen for the click of the clutch - if it doesn't click then new...
