So i got a Powergate by Alientech off Ukchipturning. i best offered him cost £200 for the device plus two maps.
Hes sent me a "track map" and "Daily Performance Map"
Offically the best £200 i've ever spent! its really brought the car alive and has given it some amazing speed.
So i contacted that seller on ebay, and he will actually send you two maps. i've asked if he can provide and Eco Map, and a performance map.
He seems like a pretty nice chap, i might be inclined too purchase just gonna keep looking into it
i totally argee with you, and the lack of any responce on this forum doesn't back up the arguement to purchase.
i'm going to speak to the uk dealers on monday, as i'm aware its a fairly new product and there must be some hidden costs.
does look very cool though....
i'm in between the flasher loader and the Vtech Bluebox, just waiting till monday too see what Tractative say about it.
Vtech Bluebox seems to be the best of both worlds with economy maps and Performance maps all pre-loaded.
So, the Giac Flash Loader.

£120 for the unit apparently. plus £100 for maps... according to some rough translating from US Sites...
Anyone got one of these yet??
on the Giac usa site the have Statller as their dealer for UK
so it wasn't the top mount... garage inspected it and they couldn't find a problem... so i took the wheel off myself. Checked everything again, found the breakpad was wobbling.
So i took it off, and found the clip had come a bit loose, so i viced it, got a centre punch and hammer and hit it...
