Hello everyone I swapped my golf for a 3.0tdi Quattro off my mate which is soo quick.
Anyway he had his fast Audi out which is total perfection but the passenger side air bag was making a squeaky racket, really annoying ,any ideas please ?
Hi chaps a good buddy of mine has a B5 2.5tdi Quattro and he has been told the seats from a B6 will fit and work ok. Is this correct? I have my doubts regarding plugging the electrics in and not getting any issues with airbags etc.
Thanks.
Hi chaps! A mate of mine has a 2.5tdi Quattro sport and needs to replace the rear shocks. Does anyone know a good place to get them from please? He's been quoted £130 + vat each!! Just sounds a bit dear to me. Thanks.
It's a saloon mate. It needs a couple of tyres, drivers side door mirror and a side repeater lens. It more than likely needs a few other bits and like I said if anyone wants to speak to him send me a pm.
Hey chaps a mate of mine has a W reg 2.5tdi quattro in black and it's failed the mot on a few things. He's open to offers so if anyone's interested drop me a pm and I'll send you his number.
I was thinking of smashing the rear quarter passenger side window and using a long pole to operate the lock switch on the drivers door. how does that window fit in?
Hello all, happy Easter and all that. I know I'm going to get a bit of stick for this but what's done. is done. I've lost my main set of keys and the other set are in the car. Any ideas on how to get In? It's a 4 door A4 saloon.
Good one, this should keep us busy!
How long have you had the car, has it run low on fuel before and was there much crud in the filter?
I used to work on aircraft and cutting open fuel / oil filters was often a good way of preventing
and or finding the cause to a problem.
Chances are your...
Not doubting that at all. If it was my car I would check power side before getting the spanners out!
Anyway wish that was all that was wrong with mine.
Mate of mine has a 2004 1.9tdi and he couldn't turn off the rear wiper. I put that down to a switching
issue. Check you have power to the wiper motor before stripping it.
Remove the MAF sensor and generously spray the sensor with brake cleaner. Leave to dry fully and refit.
Mine used to be sluggish and sometimes would struggle to climb a hill! Now it pulls much harder and revs
through to 4500rpm where before it would only rev to 3500.
