Currently own a diesel mk5 golf, I previously had a b6 1.9tdi and loved it. I changed jobs late last year and went from doing 1000 miles each week to only 50 miles now. My next car WILL be a b6 S4. For the money they go for, the awesome power and sound it's a no brainer really!

Had a puncture last year when I still had Bridgestone 235/45/17 extra load tyres fitted and it was almost unnoticeable. It was like a subtle change in road surface rather than olde skool high profile tyre catastrophic loss of control .

I always start mine with the side lights on, just seems to start better. The brake symbol flashing / beeping often happens if the battery is less than 90% fully charged. Maybe unrelated to your problem bud but give your battery a FULL charge and see what happens.

I watch them all the time on auto trader and eBay and good examples fetch 3.0 tdi money!
