Good purchase - I found my father inlaw a 10 plate (?mk1?) CC and he's over the moon with it. Id love one myself but if i owned one id have to get it aired out as the look AWESOME bellied out! I love how much more refined they are than a standard passat.

Who fitted the kit - are you sure they've been fitted correctly? Eibachs are only a tiny drop too, so i can't imagine youre gonna be fouling anything or scrubbing. Id check the alignment at that they're correctly fitted if youre having troubles like that.

D3 4.2 V8 brakes can be found quite reasonable iirc someone on here uses that setup.

'P' prefix iirc - the letter at the end of the serial. Ive re-fitted the old faulty one now as the other one was causing even more problems than i had before. Ill have to get it comm'd to pull the serial from it, I've not got enough plasters left to pull the unit again :grimacing:

I wouldn't have thought so as the S6 is a V8 and the TDI is a 4 banger. Vibratechnics would possibly do one or just replacing with a new one will make a huge difference over a 10+ year old one.
