Hi there just bought an A3 cabrio 2011 2.0TDi non Bose, with an aftermarket headunit (pumpkin android thing). Just trying to find out if the rear speakers are amplified in any way, and if so does the amp need a signal from the headunit to 'switch on'. At present the rear volume is very low...

Funnily enough I use tune in as well, although if you update the ROM which is simple enough to do, you get a better EQ with the OS. I am looking at the 4.4 pumpkin headunit with DAB+ so hopefully this maybe better

thanks for that.....also what is the quality of the FM radio? I know the erisin one on my beemer is awful, the sound is all tinny

thinking of getting one for the missuses motor, I have a erisin one in my BMW and it takes a good while to boot up, are these any better??
