I tried floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee, but it was like Mike Tyson and wouldn't give up.
In the end I got out of the car and had my dinner. It fixed itself overnight, no need for the bruised knuckles after all.

This is bizarre. I haven't posted on these forums for months because the A3 has been absolutely flawless, but this evening it started doing exactly this.
Mine's a non-Bose Symphony II and it's doing this regardless of whether I'm moving or stationery, whether the engine is running or not...
Hello folks, hope you're all cool  I've not posted for a while because my A3's been very good to me (and I've been generally pretty busy otherwise) but it's only gone and spoilt the mood by deciding to use up all the nice screenwash I put in.
When I fill it up I can see drips coming...
Are you in range of VagTech?

They did mine for free when I had a full service and cambelt done recently, so I can't imagine they'd charge much for it on its own.
I never bothered with testing a petrol because I always knew I was going to get a diesel, simply for the economy over an S3 (which I'd have got if I was going petrol). I did drive a couple of 2WD TDis and they were nice enough but the quattro just gives it that bit of "edge" if you know what I...
Chalk up another TDI quattro owner that feels all warm and squishy. The car's an absolute trooper, gobbles up miles without thinking but can still put a grin on your face when you give it the beans away from a junction and the quattro kicks in and launches you away. It feels incredibly solid...
Twighlight zone or what! How's the car been since? I've done about 100 miles, a mixture of town, motorway and country roads and mine's been absolutely fine.
I had a moderately eventful journey home from work this evening. Actually, the journey itself was unremarkable but there was a bit of a saga before I could set off.
My car's been an absolute gem, no problems at all, and the journey in to work today was no different. But when I came to go...
Be straight with them; my sister recently wrote off her Mini and she says that Bell were superb in handling the claim. She always got put straight through to the same person who was very helpful and they gave her a very good payout for the value of the car. I hope you get the same service mate.

Two weeks on it's now saying about 21k until the next service. I guess these things just take time to settle down.
I've just been quoted £372.83 for a major long-life service by Bedford Audi, plus £82.25 for brake fluid. They did my Haldex+oil earlier in the year and that was about £110.
You could argue eight if you wanted to double-up on the missing apostrophe in "wheres" and also the fact it should really be "where are" but that's nit-picking ;)
Anyway, this is an argument nobody will ever win. Some people like to take time over their writing using it as part of their...
