Ok after months of enduring this horrible fluttering noise I had a proper look and found this
I think a mechanic has bodged the pcv valve breather pipe with tape causing it to rip and cause a vac leak I ordered a new breather pipe and the car sounds much better plus it pulls better to! Case...
Looks like you have a few split pipes mate that would explain the poor MPG mate, you should find the split pipes and replace them with silicon ones, forge do some good silicon pipes for the 1.8t engine also the performance will be a lot better when you replace the pipes!
Hi had a funny noise when I press the accelerator in my car I have the badger 5 TIP and the jetex cone filter my car is a 2003 S3 8l bam engine hope the video helps the car feels fine under boost if thats any help

From the diagram it looks like it is the Rear left vehicle level sender -G76 this was snapped snapped off at the connection on the original tie bars have a picture here if it helps<br>
Could always try and adjust the lights from the white plastic screws that are on the lights
My headlights are pointing up a bit and I have had some oncoming traffic flashing their lights at me thinking I was driving with full beams on does anyone know what the actual part is called?
Hi I replaced my rear tie bars for adjustable ones last year but never attached the Xenon headlight level sensor just wondering if it will effect my car when it comes to MOT time and should I need to have it fitted on to the new tie bar?
That's good to here a cheap fix was the problem with your car the plugs on my girlfriends car were a nightmare to remove thought they were welded on :(
