    Alex13p - A6 (c6/4f) Avant 2.0 Tdi 140 2007

Got hold of some magic erasers and I'm de-shining all the leather whilst waiting for missus to turn up. So quick and easy to do!

Not sure what they are to be honest, they came with the car. They are a bit noisy! Going to but some surf board pads on them and leave them on to look all tour'y ha

    Alex13p - A6 (c6/4f) Avant 2.0 Tdi 140 2007

Ah fair enough, well John said he's heard things and that he didn't know for sure... My thoughts were, for something so small and not that important it wasn't worth it..you only see it for 2seconds and its gone haha. The reverse sensors and chirp are a great small addition though. Got my...

    Satnav

I'm with elan2s on this one - I'd spend the money on a nice thin compact TomTom or something similar. Like elan2s said, you'll get so much more for your money. For the sake of having it on the same screen and a bit tidier it's just not worth it. The SatNav system isn't great other than the...

    Alex13p - A6 (c6/4f) Avant 2.0 Tdi 140 2007

Had a visit from JohnnyM100 yesterday. Found him on the VCDS map on here. He was very efficient and knew what he was doing. I can highly recommend him if you are local. He only asks that you make a donation to one of his two favourite charities which I think is also quite a nice touch as doing...

    Alex13p - A6 (c6/4f) Avant 2.0 Tdi 140 2007

Yer its definitely PD140. It was originally my dads car from new (Audi ex-demo) so its been in the family for ~7 years. Good for me because I know its been driven softly, that its been looked after with no expenses spared and has sentimental value of all the family holidays and trips in it. My...

    Alex13p - A6 (c6/4f) Avant 2.0 Tdi 140 2007

Hi guys, as promised I've finally got round to getting the old girl washed and cleaned. No idea where I'm going to start with the changes I'd like to happen, all depends on money really. Either way, starting this thread for photos of my whip! and showing anything I change on it. Car history...

The internet says otherwise regarding the needle sweep - I've seen a few people do it on vids. Quick google found this - Needle Sweep: 1. In vcds select control module 17 2. use coding (button number 07) 3. click longcoding 4. slect byte 1, set bit 0 to 1 Finished. I've never used a VSDS so...

A6 Le Mans 2.0 Tdi Tyres & Re Map

I've heard of all three of the above, especially darkside - heard very good things - just they are all an absolute mission away from me as I'm in Hampshire on south coast. AMD Woking isn't too far but from the little feedback i've seen, they aren't great...That's only come from one person though...

What are you aiming for with the exhaust, noise or just looking nice? Which videos did you see, or what did you search for/where did you search? The guide I read looked horrible, I suppose it's how brave you're feeling though ha Have you looked at getting the dials to stage on ignition? Geeky...

A6 Le Mans 2.0 Tdi Tyres & Re Map

Are there many options of reputable companies willing to remap? I'll be honest, I haven't searched thoroughly but a quick Google doesn't burst with options, especially if you don't want to drive more than 100 miles to get it done

Nice, adcooper on here recommended this guy to me - http://www.tclsatnav.com/index.html He's got a solution/fitting for the denison500 if you want someone to do it for you. After some reading around I think i'd rather get a pro to fit it, looks horrible to do! Any particular exhausts you've...

So what's next on the cards? I'm stuck with deciding on where to begin. Money is constantly tight whilst saving to buy a house and so for me it's going to come in dribs and drabs but do I go for a remap first or looks. I really could do with starting off my own build thread, even if it's going...

Ok, I've just had a proper read through everything you've done. This is now my new favourite thread on ASN. My car is identical except it's an Avant. Only had it couple of weeks so far but would love to do some similar things with it to what you've done. Keep up the good work and thanks for...

    Squeaking Steering

I've got this issue as well. Previous owner (my dad) says that it's done this for a long time. So I suppose there's relief in knowing that it's not going to fail if you guys have only just had it start. It would be nice to fix though as it does ruin the experience a bit!
