Ok got a slight wobble on idle. Doesn't do this from cold but it becomes apparent when warm 90 as indicated on temp gauge.
So far I have checked for fault codes but there aern't any.
Flywheel and clutch only just done so it ain't that.
Went to Audi and they suggested I get the injectors...
Don't think it will be a keeper then based on that.....car aint that great to invest that sort of dosh.
May consider a 3.o tdi next time or go back to a reliable 320d sport with 177 or 184 powerplant.
Main dealer reckons the early car's are worse although this problem...
In that case can I simply change the assembly for a new one to prevent this from happening?
I have a good mechanic so is it an expensive for the parts to change this assembly and what's involved?
My main dealer said they don't see any issues on the later cars!!! ggrrr!!

I was originally hoping to have cruise and an APR map but I don't think they do it. I assume these maps pretty well offer similar power/torque gains??
I note Revo were doing 30% off at GTI International now reduced to 20% off at TSR.

That's put me right off getting a 2 litre TDI Audi.
I will probably opt for the 2.7tdi A6 or 3 litre derv unit..I assume they are ok?
Another contender is the 330d BMW.....father has one of these and it superb.
I like our B6 TBH....a lovely Avant but the newer A4 seems to be a real...
What year model I can buy with confidence without all the aforementioned problems? Would 2007 or 2008 onwards be ok??

I have been reading some horendous stories on the B6 forum regarding the early 2 litre VAG unit with regards to the shaft on the oil pumps causing catastrophic termination of engines or expensive remedial work and expensive issues of the DPF and injector issues.
Has VAG solved these...
