I’ve ditched spending £60k on the RS3. Wife has other plans…..a holiday bolt hole.
So to make up for “my” loss Ive gone and ordered a set of Ohlins for my R and in negotiations to move on from APR Stage 2 to a TTV4 upgrade which will keep me happy on my track excursions. A key reason was the...
I got a substantial discount via Motor Affinity with a 4.9% PCP deal. If I order next week they will secure the price before the increase in December.
Still trying to convince the Mrs’s about buying an expensive toy …”again”
Have you gone for the Dynamic Pack?
I know the discs and callipers are a different size not sure on calliper size / clearance??
Been considering those brakes but not sure how long typically discs and pads last and cost of replacement for both disc and pads? If going on Track wondering what the...
I agree £63k for the Vorsprung edition will put it up against some serious used more exotic Sunday drivers toys.
I want a retirement toy /Sunday driver/ occasional trip and an odd trackday toy hence the RS3 is a nice easy to live with option.
Wonder if the 8V’s will keep holding £40k ++ next...
Just waiting for another broker to get me some figures.
I will hopefully have a good amount of time to sell my current car so that’s not a problem.
Main dealer also said at least 6-10 months on a Vorsprung model such is the uptake on these cars.
Spoke to my local dealer yesterday and he’s made me aware of a 6% price increase on the RS3 which is due this December.
That’s quite a bit on a Vorsprung model CIRCA £3800!!!
Ive not ordered yet as I was delaying my order to 2022 .
I was going to order via Motor Affinity and take advantage of...
I’ve just been quoted by Motor Infinity today on a Vorsprung Hatch and added a few bits ie carpet matts, metallic paint.
Great discount of £6300
PCP is 4.9% ….much cheaper Audi
I’ve based my quote on just 9k a year with maximum deposit as I intend to buy outright at some stage.
This will be...
Yeap it does seem the case. Only benefit of the 8R is you can option it up to £47k with pretty every option then buy it thru DTD for just over £40k which is a big saving. As we all know a high spec R in the trade is worth little more than a bog standard car when the time comes to resale.
Yeap….may put £25k and finance rest on a cheap loan.
Or just buy a nice low mile 2018 example and save a wad of cash.
Im also looking at Cayman. GTS and R8”s at this price point. A high spec MK8 R via Drive the Deal seem even better value with options £41k! I know it’s not the same as an RS3...
It might of been the carbon edition tbh I contacted the dealership to make an appointment to view a launch edition expected in 6 weeks time.
He gave me a quick illustration of a deal he’d done for another customer so until I go in and discuss the figures and get it on paper I’ll confirm...
I’ve got a APR Stage 2 MK7R DSG Golf which I’ve owned from new.
It’s a good spec being a 3 door in Oryx white, DCC, Prets, Winter Pack, Dynaudio / MIB2 and privacy pack.
I had the APR stage 2 with FMIC and full APR exhaust put on the car together with a Tarox 8 Pot 2 piece BBK and upgraded the...
