Very little lag at all on my 2.0 TFSi Quattro if I am in Dynamic mode. Other modes are noticeable and Eco mode is definitely noticeable. I just switch from D to S for circles where I need to nip out quicker.
Yes I think I'll take your advice and do the change at the 3 year annual service. Yes it'll only be just over half the recommend mileage for doing a change but like you guys it has to be a worthwhile exercise.

Buy the genuine article. It'll be a spot on fit and won't curl up or become brittle. Additionally the plastic or rubber doesn't smell like on non OEM stuff
Of course they cost more but that's life.
What do people think of the service interval for changing the fluid in these DSG boxes? In the guide to costs brochure for servicing they state every 60 000km (every 40 000 miles?). They don't speak about years. Maybe this should be done a bit earlier or at the latest every 3 years to avoid...
For your info folks - I purchased these yesterday from Skoda an they fit perfectly on the A4 headrests. Good tablet holder solution for Audi owners not wanting to buy an expensive Audi system and use their own tablets
I downloaded the OBDEleven app and it suggests that video in motion isn't possible on newer software is this true?
I would like the following options,
Video in motion
Longer hands free
Longer traffic jam assist before it asks to reset again
My car is a December 2017 model A4
Hi folks,
My children like to watch their tablets in the car. I bought tablet holders but they are not brilliant. Struggled to find something decent online. Then by chance I noticed these for Skoda...
No I didn't. Fear of the warranty and what the insurance company might say put me off doing anything. A shame as I feel the engine has lots to offer and could be better refined

I have been out in the snow. Early snow was powder at about 15cm (no issues at all), later hard compacted snow (slight issue if care wasn't taken) then hard-packed snow-ice with rain on the top (no issues at all unless I became abusive). I switched to off-road mode on my Allroad which locks...
Now I didn't know about Pierre Poujade.
Poujade called the National Assembly "the biggest brothel in Paris" and the deputies a "pile of rubbish" and "pederasts" - Seems like he could far these days if he was still alive
Thanks for that.
My car came with the factory mats but I bought the Audi OEM rubber mats and the boot inlay. These mats are a great fit an they don't have a rubber smell. I like to save on accessories but I'm glad I bought the Audi mats.
These centrists are just the socialists in disguise. Yes the previous party had a low vote - due to their useless time in power. The present party have gone the same way. Ah well let's not dwell too much on politics and get back to 'trying' to enjoy our cars.
I have lived in France for the last 15 years.
The breathalyser thing has been and gone. It is no longer needed they were found to be unreliable and thus utterly unenforceable.
Just picked up my Allroad in December. You still need to carry a set of lightbulbs even if you have matrix lights or...
I have not really tried auto mode so that sounds interesting. I agree the eco mode is only good for easy going driving and the reaction time is not great. I'll give the auto mode a try tomorrow.
Just adding that I have now done 2 500km (1 500 miles) in my Allroad 2.0Tfsi - I generally do the same type of routes. 70km (44 miles) of A class roads and a few villages, plus about 10km (6 miles) of town driving. There is less stop/start driving and there are not many 'slug' drivers like...
Finally go the Android App working in MMI by deleting the phone from the MMI. I then added it again and tried it with the engine on then off.
Although I have the Google Earth navigation in MMI I would still like to be able to see a satellite image in the Android app. I know how to switch on...
Thanks for the reply.
I thought the engine had to be off but the electrics had to be on? Either way Android Auto is not appearing in the MMI menu.
Is it worth me doing the full MMI reset?

Thanks. Yes I had seen the video before. My car does not prompt me to activate Android Auto. I think this is where the problem is.
Maybe I need to do a fuller reset?
