Right, ive been having an absolute nightmare since I have lowered my car. One problem after another, the latest of which is a loud and very worrying knocking noise which has everyone I have shown it to baffled.
Ive had the car up and cant see what would be causing it.
Leading up to this...
There is a pic on this thread that shows where it is, just where the bumper meets the panel.
I have a sport too with the same springs, had 2 people in the back of the car last week and no rubbing.
I cant picture what is behind it, but by removing the wheel arch lining you will get water and dirt spray up where its not supposed to be. Start with removing the screw, if it still rubs you...
Jesus, removing the arch linings is quite drastic. You shouldn't be getting any rubbing, you can remove the arch lining screw to see if that helps first.
Also, looking at the before ride height I don't see how that would rub unless you are carting around a grand piano. Perhaps its a different...

Ride is absolutely fine, its defiantly firmer.
No problems with speed humps, no rubbing. Not had more than 2 people in the car yet though so cant comment on what its like with a full car, but I try to avoid having more than 2 people in there...
Having a few problems of late. Most likely down to me installing new springs and messing something up in the process.
Im suddenly getting a single clunk when I first put my car on full lock. I also get it intermittently when braking. Sounds like it is coming from the drivers side...
Just been out to did out the bit that has sheered off:
Sorry, I have been a bit unclear. I think what I did was disturb the CV joint from the end of the drive shaft and when put it all back together, I didn't slot them together tight enough.
That bit should be on the end of the drive...
