In a bizarre twist, received an email this morning that not only has my car been built, its at the dealer and is ready for delivery as soon as 1st Sept. Registered already as a 72 plate, which is nice.
Terrible comms is not a surprise, i even emailed Audi a few weeks ago and they told me...
I've ordered through MSG (Lincoln Audi) and after asking again two weeks ago they've told me the car will arrive when it arrives and I should stop asking. So in other words I won't get any updates until the car arrives.
Ridiculous feedback, which was duly responded to with a sod off.
That's why I am waiting until the car is ready and not bailing now. I'll look at the market at the time and then work out if I can sell it on easily, but I've just spent the RS3 funds on a 981 Boxster GTS so will need to get some more cash ready or finance the RS3 at the time of delivery so I...
I received the joyous update that my car has progressed….backwards to BW38
I made the rather direct accusation to MSG/Lincoln Audi that they are deliberately prioritising perhaps more profitable customers, but decided against telling them to shove the car. They tell me that this is not the...
Lincoln Audi for me also.
I'm almost certain that those of use using the bluelight/military sales channel through Lincoln, are being punted backwards. These will be flagged as 'fleet' sales on Audi's system, and they will always be lower priority.
I just fired off a stroppy email to MSG, seeing people who ordered after me through the same broker/dealer and actually having Vorsprung's built is a little galling. I'm still on BW23, i'm close to pulling the plug to be honest.
Checked in on mine yesterday, still have an unconfirmed build week of 36. Had some spiel telling me that they expected this to come forward far quicker as unconfirmed build weeks are just for holding purposes, but I'm running out of patience. Rapidly
I ordered on the launch day
Just to add, some insurance companies don’t even tell you directly about needing a tracker (Direct Line being an example) and instead “hide” it in the Endorsements section in the middle of the cover documents. Of course it’s up to the policyholder to check paperwork, but they are a little sneaky...
With respect it’s nothing like that at all. I think Jassy is highlighting that when on the never-never, you don’t own the car and you are forbidden from doing any mods on it until such time as you pay it off.
Everyone is entitled to opinions, some of them more worthwhile than others (e.g...
Sadly i won‘t be changing. As i ordered through the Military thing, they’ve said they’ll only change the order if i commit to the new price with hugely reduced discounts. Not going to do that, so Turbo Blue it is.
At least i don‘t have to change my signature.
