The awe is a cat back so need for tuning. In my opinion though this one is better quality and possibly cheaper. https://diversionstores.co.uk/products/ie-catback-exhaust-system-for-b9-b9-5-sq5?_pos=11&_fid=351fe08a0&_ss=c
No need for a tune.
If you change this (below) then you'll need a tune.
Hi mate, it all depends what you want. I looked at the intergrated engineering exhaust from diversion automotive (UK stockist). Great bit of kit and not pricey at all. Great noise to.
The downpipe on the b9 is also the cat which is the route I went down. Mine now has a downpipe which required a...
I have for sale the 034 motorsport laptop tuning dongle. This gives you the ability to map your car with a 034 ecu or tcu map from the comfort of home. Simply buy the map from 034motorsport.com open your tuning portal and flash your car.
If you are already tuned by 034 then you can swith from...
Does the car drive any differently? The only time I've seen the drive system malfunction on my sq5 is when there has been a problem with the Ghost immobiliser (or the car has been started without the code).
A few subtle changes since my last post !
Now running 034motorsport stage 2+
with all supporting mods.
Also added a new set of tsw bathurst alloys in 10.5j running a 285 35 21.
Good morning. This is ours lowered 35mm on h&r springs and 15mm front and 25mm rear spacers before I changed the alloys. Hopefully this gives you an idea.
They do throw up codes when they fail properly. From what I've read when they go the whole engine stops pretty quickly and a rebuild is required.
The main problem with the old type is the bearings are too small. So when they start wearing they start rattling just a tidy amount due to the...
Nothing to worry about as far as I'm aware. The problems with rocker arms have all been petrol from what I have read.
Could be worth a look into though as the noise you have mentioned sounds exactly the same as the rocker arm bearing fault.
Another comman issue with the petrol sq5 is...
I've not read the whole thread on this so apologies if its been mentioned already. I've been reading up on this recently as I'm thinking of having our timing chain done soon and a lot of companies offer the rocker arm replacement at the same time.
In the new (2019+) 3.0tfsi engines they have...
Hi mate,
From what I believe Audi class the rear diff as a lifetime fluid. I've asked a few garages and they have recommended getting it done before 100k. Good video below. May be completely different for non S variant.
We bought our 2018 almost 2 years ago and we haven't looked back. Been an almost faultless 2 years as well.
The only options ours hasn't got is air suspension which I wish we has gone for and we didn't get the upgraded interior lighting either which I suppose would have been nice.
Seems to be...
Good morning all,
Been a while since I've posted. My sq5 has ran faultlessly in the nearly 2 years of ownership but last night this ended.
The drivers side heat controls are only blowing cold air! Has anyone had this fault? From a quick Google it seems it'll be the temperature sensor but...
I have a 2017 face-lift as well and was curious so just started the car and had a look around. I wouldn't say I have a ticking as such but it does sound like a loud engine especially with the bonnet up!
I can add a video if it would help? If you have a video that would be great as well.
Managed to pick the car up a week early! First impressions we are both extremely happy with the new purchase.
Thanks for the message and advice I'm sure I'll be adding some questions in the future.
Now time to go for another drive :)
