    It's all down to the offset, stock S3 alloys are ET54 which is why you have to run spacers in order to fit a lot of the BBK's under them, especially if using the TTRS setup. ET45 alloys is what most go for and saves the need for spacers, plus it sits nicely with the arches.

    The 5mm drill out mod can be done on the OEM HPFP brass fittings when an Autotech HPFP internals is used because like you say it assists with the fueling from the LPFP, this mod is done as standard on the LOBA HPFP which consists of both the internals and housing.
