Update so far,ive removed the dogbone mount and replaced with old one.Still same problem!.this time tho the was a crack/clunk noise when i pulled off hard or breaked hard!??.. Am'i right by saying that when a coilover is put together its spring,plate then sits on top,bearing,nut,then rubber...

I ve had it removed fo soo long as it sits very low and yeah it does handle ok mate,i dont really chuck it about really just drive fast in a straight line haha.I i wll get round to fitting a uprated one soon tho...Any ideas on this problem?..its really fecking me off!!

Yep i have removed arb and drop links and have fitted new wishbones and new top mounts and bearings!..only thing i think of it could be the new uprated dogbone mount i fitted or the top mounts are wrong somehow??..

Nope not the drop link as i dont have them or a arb.removed it all.

I seem to be having the same prob on my A3 mate.Ive fitted brand new coilovers,new wishbones,new top mounts and bearings and i dont have a arb!..its really fecking me off!.sounds like a broken spring doesnt it??..but only happens when going over pot holes etc?..only thing i could maybe put it...

Hmm aint sure if its the mount as it sounds like a clanging noise,something loose!..perhaps i should get some new bolts then i can cross that off if its that or not...maybe the coils hitting each other?..it is very low! One other thing,any other good mounts worth replacing/uprating?.

Nope mate ive done all that,i dont have a arb.i have new wishbones,new top mounts,new bearings etc and new coilovers!..i have just taken out the front coilover and the sharft has play so i put my old ones back in but still have the same problem!.

Its a nocking noise when i go over pot hole etc just from the drivers side.im gonna take it off again and torque all the nuts up and try then.im sure it has only started since i fitted it!.
