I would be in the same boat mate. Mines just come out of warranty so I have a local Audi/Vw specialist who will have a look at it when they change my oil. Think my spool is normal. Seems like the Facelift RS3 have had some issues from what I've seen on the forum.

I had a Golf R MK7 too and thinking about it. It did make the same noise. I can worry no more haha. Cheers Marshy

I think its me being over sensitive. Its just a lil hiss like you described Marshy. Just before it fully kicks in! I do live in a city so yer valid points!

No don't be saying that! Think its when you fixate on a sound and you knows its there. Had all the windows and sunroof open today and was noticeable.

I have a PFL 2015 RS3 and wondering if anyone else noticed how loud the turbo spooling at 2000rpm is? Is it just me or?

Good to know. They feel and look very good quality. Still debating whether to fit them or keep the original wheels on.

4237 Well these arrived today. Inner size 57.1mm outer spigot 66.6mm to fit HRE alloys. Made by SCC in Germany. Looks like HRE got them specially made for their application.

We shall see when they arrive! Thanks for the help. Need to get some extended bolts now.

Oh I see. I took '3 mm spacers with an integrated centering from 66.6 to 57,1 mm' as one unit rather than two! I have bolts that I kept from my golf that were used with the HRE. Ill have a look at what they are.

Here is what HRE sent me. 'thank you for your inquiry. If you want to use your FF01 8.5x19 ET47 on an RS3, then you need 3 mm spacers with an integrated centering from 66.6 to 57,1 mm on the hub bore. We have those in stock. A set of 4x spacers is incl. shipping to the UK is GBP 54,-.' Sounds...

I want to put my HRE FF01 19 inch 47 offset alloys on to my RS3 and HRE are sending me 3mm spacers 57.1mm to 66.6mm which they suggested I needed. Anyone had experience with spacers and the controversial question of are they safe? Cheers in advance!

Must admit.. when I polished her the other month, she looked amazing. Snow, salt and grit hasn't helped the micro scratches :(
