sorry missed out this bit, had a remap to 160bhp (from the standard 115) and economy is a tiny bit better up to about 570 miles off a 60 litre tank, performance is hugely better though!
economy would be a lot better if i stopped putting my foot down and drove normally..........

i had a similar problem with my 1.9Tdi, i was doing long motorway runs and only getting 500 miles to a 60 litre tank which works out at 40mpg where i would have thought i'd get a least 45, and i'm not that heavy footed and use the cruise control mostly.

i have recently had my 1.9TDi remapped by a company called more-bhp in Cheshire and i have to say they did a fantastic job and it only cost £215, their website is www.more-bhp.com if you want a look, i would recommend them over a plug in box as i had one of these from Tdi-tuning...
not one for the major name brands myself as i dont have the cash but i have had a set of 18" Kumho's on the rear for a year with little wear that cost £220 fitted. they have been excellent
just paid £170 for a set of 18" Nexxen ZR rated ones for the front, seem to grip ok and arent too shabby...

one strange thing that i noticed this morning though was that the judder in 4th gear has more or less disappeared (5th gear one is still there) which is a bit odd, would it 'wear in' as such if it was a mechanical problem?
i have a 2005 Audi A4 s-line 1.9TDi 115ps that i have recently had re-mapped to approx. 150-160bhp.
