So randomly the other night at 5am my car started alarming, so attended it and reset ok.
last night at 12am again randomly went off and reset ok, parked up at work today locked it and walked away and it realarmed.
Turned off the interior scan and movement sensor walked...
+1 for H&R ARB's very happy with them, do the job and fit really well. Currently on hard on both front and rear but I think I need to soften the rear one.
I'm using Whiteline ALK - comes with a 'track' and 'road' bush option. I put the road one on and drives really well.
Just spoke to demon tweeks regarding my milltek I ordered yesterday as they hadn't dispatched it, since I also paid for next day delivery hoping it would be here today, then the lady on the phone (i know its not her fault) said that they're waiting for the back box to arrive in stock which...
I have debated it today and decided to go for a milltek. I've had one in the past on my mk7 fiesta st and quiet liked it.
I'm only running stage 2 software and won't be going any further. Plus the hassle of taking off and selling my downpipe is more hassle than it's worth. Plus the extra £1k in...
Is there a reason BCS do not sell just the car back? Like I'm happy to chop up my scorpion DP if needed. The BCS system would be great as I start work at 0620 AM and that system would be perfect. I originally had a scorpion non res cat back but found it a little too loud in the mornings. Maybe a...
Looking into getting myself a BCS powervalve system if I manage to sell my Wingbacks. Just got a couple of questions if anyone can help.
- Currently I have a scorpion 3" downpipe and sports cat going to a 'oem' cat back. Will the BCS system match upto the scorpion as I don't want to change it...
As above, my S3 isn't finding any radio stations just a lot of static.
I plugged in vcds and got these faults, if anyone can tell me what my issue is would be greatly appreciated.

from previous experience I would say do the intercooler.
dyno runs seem to produce higher temps due to confined space etc but on a hot summers day you'll probably get the same.
Wagner seem to be one of the best intercoolers you can buy for any car at the moment top quality products and flow...
Could be your air-con condensor with a hole in, they are prone to it as they are very weak and right at the front of the car in front of the radiator and intercooler. maybe worth getting a pressure test done which will tell you about any leaks or seal failure in the A/C pump. I'd do that first...
I have the connector with the 2 wires so going to solder them up at work today then re-install.
Seems silly that you can't disable them all together on the S3.
Just would like to know how to disable the wear indicator. My track pads don't have a sensor so want it off.
Currently going :
17-Instruments
Coding-07
Software code is : 0037428
The helper doesn't state brake pads anywhere and it's different from my old mk5 gti.
Any help appreciated...
I found out it is part of the cover and can be removed as the resin used to bond it can crack and cause vacuum issues allowing air into the engine.
If it's been removed that's probably why.
The only solution I had to get one back on the car as to buy either a new rocker cover or buy a 2nd hand...
Did you get a part number for it? or where did you purchase it from?
I didn't mind paying it as both donuts were goosed and the centre bearing was so bad you could bend the prop shaft 120 degrees so was proper goosed.
my car is past 100k and i had to replace the prop-shaft last year after blowing it up on track.
being a face lift model you can't buy any parts separately so had to buy the whole thing at some big expense!
Just keep on top of regular servicing
Does the Carista dongle/app allow you to view live data?
If so can it read oil temperature? Currently using torque and doesn't allow you to view it.
Thanks.
Check boost pressures and maf values through the obd2 port if you have a dongle.
If you have access log them and post them. It's easy enough to see from them values how the car is working and if its been mapped.
