Apparently there is no sub, even though the speaker wires are different colors at the chassis connector than at the rear speakers. I disconnected the front and rear RCA speaker connectors and there was no change. I still have front speakers but no rear speakers. Apparently. I'm running on radio...
The wires that come out of the chassis wiring harness for the speakers are not the same color as the wires connected to the speakers. This leads me to believe that there is an amp somewhere for the rear speakers. However, the blue wire that triggers an amp from the receiver does not have a...
I installed a Pioneer double din in place of my stock nav receiver in my 2009 A4 B6 Cabtio. I ordered DIN harnesses and adaptors from England. Radio works, gets power properly, but the only sound is coming from the front speakers. How do I get power to the sub ?
(I have a blue/white wire...
I installed the DUAL in my A4 B7 Cabrio. It had the facory GPS unit with dead button and no backup camera. I used an adaptor cable that required splicing. The unit is not powering on. I suspect is has something to do with with two unused brown wires from the chassis, CAn A and CAN B. I hve ni...
But I can't do that without removing the release handle and seat switch at the top of the seat, and I can't find anyone around here who knows how to remove it.
I pulled enough away to see that the cable splits into two cables that pull levers on eiither side (and operate a micro-switch). Unfortunately the slack in the cables does not allow the levers to be pulled. If I could figure out how to remove the assemby at the top of the seat that contains the...
It's a 2009 Cabrio, so it's a B7. It cable is not broken and is firmly attached at both ends. But the cable is very loose. If there is a pulley or something behind the lumbar motor, I can't feel it. How hard is it to remove and replace the seat cover?
The cable is attached to a clevis behind the lumbar motor. It’s above my finger in the photo. It’s very loose and the handle will not take the slack out of the cable.
The bottom end of the cable attaches to a clevis behind the motor. There is so much slack in the cable that pulling the handle accomplishes nothing. I suppose I could take the entire seat cover and padding off and see better what's going on.
There is no cable going past the lumbar motor. And the cable coming from the handle at the top of the seat looks way to small diameter to mechanically release the seatback.
Mine an 09 A4 Cabrio S-line with the same problem. There is no cable end down where yours attaches. There is a very thin cable leading down from the handle to behind the motor in the seatback And from there, can't see where it goes or what it attaches to.
Ive removed the seat (09 A4 S-line cabrio), and the seatback. I can see that the handle is still connected to the cable, But as the cable goes down behnd a motor in the right hand side of the (passenger) seat, I can not see where it ends or what it is supposed to be connected to. Nor can I...
