    Diesel slow filling

Looking at the below you can see the breather pipe as item 2.

    Diesel slow filling

That is likely the rain water drain. Tank vent is likely to be part of the filler neck most likely but I'm unsure where.

S7 2020 putting 19 inch wheels on with winter tyres-issues?

The big tread blocks on winters always make the car feel more wobbly. Here is a good comparator for speedo accuracy if you put in your two tire sizes. Put your stock tire size in field 1, winter tires in field 2 and it will show the difference in speed when running the winters...

S7 2020 putting 19 inch wheels on with winter tyres-issues?

Should be fine if the wheels are the correct fit. Tire sizes should be available to make the diameter similar so your speedo shouldn't be out, however you should probably check and compare the sizes of the 19 and 21 inch rims. I would just manually check your pressures like we all did in the old...

    Diesel slow filling

I've never had it on the A7 but have seen it on other makes where the tank breather was blocked and it slowed down filling by it gurgling back up the filler neck and tripping the pump out thinking the tank is full. I'm not sure where the breather is on the A6/A7.

    Please help A7 not starting

Fuel pump could be failing and not delivering enough pressure, or there may be a pressure sensor which is failing and giving a bad signal. Alternatively it could be blocked/failing injectors which can't deliver enough fuel. None of these are a 30 second check and may take a bit of effort to...

Oh, and I wrapped about 12" of the exhaust which was rubbing and now there's no more vibration:sunglasses:

    S7 project

I guess it depends on the company you use. I think there's a point where too cheap will mean a less than perfect job.

    S7 project

I'm hoping the wrap will fix it as the alignment of the pipes and the rear splitter is spot on so i don't want to mess with the brackets. You will have to let us know how well the stage 3 upgrades go though!

    S7 project

I haven't had chance to get the MRC remap done yet as I wanted the exhaust done first. Trying to move house, weddings, babies in the family and all sorts of other stuff just got in the way haha. Hopefully I'll be moved in a few weeks and then I can get on to MRC. Also it seems that the...

    S7 project

Well after nearly 5 months in the garage I've de-cobwebbed the Miltek boxes and finally got it fitted this afternoon. I'm aching from the driveway gymnastics and wrestling with hard to reach bolts at the end of the flexi coupling. Otherwise it was a very simple (if somewhat physically demanding)...

3.0 BiTdi smoke on start up ?

Glad you got sorted in the end even if it meant another car and hopefully you weren't too out of profit!

    2011 A7 3.0 TDI Quattro - Help!

Noise from the rear is likely the rear diff, my BiTdi was the same. It didn't get appreciably worse in the 25k miles I put on it. Agreed tire type should match but tread depth shouldn't matter. Worst case it would show as a false flat tyre rather than a ABs fault. Sounds more like a voltage...

S7 failed engine possibly due to oil strainer

What are the symptoms of the engine failure?

3.0 BiTdi smoke on start up ?

100% something wrong with that in my opinion. The fact it clears quickly possibly does suggest oil collecting due to valve stem seals or similar, however difficult to prove. It is their issue though so if they aren't going to attempt a fix under warranty I'd be onto trading standards for...

    Loud humming noise when hot

I've had a sticky calliper cause this. Not sticking enough to make the rotor noticeably hotter, but enough to cause a groaning noise at times. It wasn't strictly related to road speed but was influenced massively by even the slightest brake pedal pressure. A quick strip of the carrier and...

Audi UK Issues 4.0T Recall Notice

I've double checked and mine still isn't showing so I'm guessing mine was built with the latest version of the oil screen :thumbs up:
