    Looking for a specific o-ring

    Can anyone here produce an o-ring to size or knows someone who can do that? Size, material and other characteristics of the o-ring are present, just that specific size isn't available. If you have any info on the second ring (back up ring) below the blue o-ring, that would also be much appreciated.

    BWE vs BUL

    But that reliability in combination with a higher output wont be a problem in my case. I have rebuilt and forged the engine. The only thing that's important is whether it will line up with the transmission or not. The engine with all its anciliaries will be transfered from the bwe forged engine.

    Thanks so much Charlie. As far as I know the bwe and bgb have the GVE manual transmission in the quattro. Would this automatically mean that a BWE/BGB engine would not be compatible with the BUL (GMV) manual transmission bellhousing or does the difference only have to do with the gear ratios...

    Great build Charley. I am busy with a similar idea and was wondering if you could help out with something. Do you by any chance know which manual transmission the BUL engine uses for the quattro? Do you know which one you have?

    BWE vs BUL

    It has been over a decade, but bumping this post. Did you find out eventually? What I would like to know whether the transmission is the same in a quattro with bul and quattro with bwe engine?
