    Audi S3 8p (57) Struggling to start on morning

    Bit of a late update ;) But hate forum threads which die out myself tbh! But the fix for his car was new piston rings.. The bores were glazed the mechanic said hes never seen an S3 engine like that before. Guess the car had a hard life before my mate bought it.

    S3 Oil temp/level sensor

    anyone had their S3 suddenly stop reading the oil level sensor? My mates S3 oil light would always pop up on the dash when it was just above min but now it never comes up. The oil temp read out works and there are not fault codes logged... If you unplug the sensor on the sump still no lights...

    S3 8p (57) gearbox clunk any ideas?

    My mate has had this noise for the past 2 weeks when stopping from reversing or driving in first gear. When you apply the brakes while parking ect you can hear this noise through the car and he said you can feel it in the pedals! We got the car up on the ramp today after thinking it was coming...
