    Also one thing to consider is if you do change your suspension because it's new it will sit higher anyway. It may only take a few months to settle down a bit but may initially be higher than current. Is no one with the same spec car able to take some measurements?

    2013 A4. New Alt, new Battery.

    Recently went through this on my Mondeo. You have a new alternator and battery, doesn't seem logical for it to work when jumpstarting it if there was a fault. Have you tried taking it for a long drive to charge up, then come home and check battery voltage while still running? Then switch off...

    S4 tantrum

    Glad you got it all working! I usually run a bit of sandpaper in the hole once old one removed which sometimes helps. Had to drill out a few though and sometimes easiest!
