    Hi all, I need to replace my front brake calipers soon (brake binding slightly) but cannot find the exact torque figure for the 10mm banjo bolt on the brake hose where it enters the brake caliper…..obviously new crush washers will be used…. The Bentley workshop manual for my much older TT says...

    It‘s just pointless expense and complexity in my book. Can understand it for things like subframe bolts etc but for stuff that gets removed/replaced as part of servicing & maintenance then it seems a retrograde step to me….

    Thanks, I don’t think that mine will come undone in a hurry, 175Nm is tight……:smug:. Can’t help but wonder why the change though from 8P to 8V….. brakes almost identical but the requirement to change bolts only on the later set-up. Guess we will never know…
