    Hi Guys, My mates has just brought this A3 however it seems to be knocking quite bad, top end it seems. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what it might be? Some people have said VCT maybe? Is there any checks i can do to see if it is this? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks...

    Electrical/Alternator problem?

    My car developed a problem yesterday, when leaving work. Put the key into the ignition, turn it to stage 2, all is fine, turn the key the entire way in the barrel to start the car and nothing happens. If I then proceed to open the bonnet and give the battrery terminal tray a tap it then starts...
