    In Germany there are two - and only two - reasons to buy a Diesel: 1) you love to drive over 200 km/h on the Autobahn all the time 2) you do absolutely huge miles (and we are talking 50.000+ km/year here) Otherwise it's simply not worth it. Initial costs are way higher (roughly 2-3k)...
