    fuel pump and sender unit

    Think fuel gauge probs are common on a6. Mine drops to zero miles and empty gauge when level is low. Removing rear seat and unplugging n/s sender unit usually resets it.

    4.2 cambelt replacement intervals??

    Cam belt is due at 80k make sure all the tensioners & waterpump etc are done too as the belt is most likely to break if one of those fail.
